Raptors' Serge Ibaka: Will not make Raptors debut Wednesday

Ibaka will not make his Raptors debut in Wednesday's game against the Hornets.

Analysis:

While the team was optimistic that their newest member would be able to make his debut before the All-Star break, that is officially not happening, as the Raptors will now have to wait until next Friday before Ibaka can see the floor. Fortunately for Toronto, head coach Dwane Casey said that it is a timing issue and not a physical one, according to Blake Murphy of Raptors Republic, so he should be good to go as soon as games resume next week. With Patrick Patterson (knee) also out, look for Jakob Poeltl to get the start once again at power forward for the Raptors.
