Rockets' Ryan Anderson: Hopes to play Wednesday
Anderson suffered a cut on his right thumb over the weekend but hopes to be ready to play Wednesday against the Heat, Jonathan Feigen of the Houston Chronicle reports.
Analysis:
According to Feigen, Anderson said he "lopped off" skin on the thumb while "pushing down trash" at his home Sunday night. While it's somewhat of a bizarre injury, it doesn't look to be overly serious, though Anderson did require a trip to the emergency room to address the cut. Anderson's availability Wednesday will likely come down to a matter of pain tolerance and comfortability.
