Watch: Pels' Hield ejected for striking Cousins below the belt
Kelley L Cox-USA TODAY Sports
New Orleans Pelicans rookie Buddy Hield was assessed a flagrant-2 foul and promptly ejected after grabbing a handful of DeMarcus Cousins' nether regions in Sunday's game against the Sacramento Kings.
The regrettable play immediately spurred the Kings to an 12-2 run to pull themselves even with the Pelicans in an important game in the chase for eighth in the West.
