The NBA and FIBA are opening their doors to the Basketball Without Borders organization in New Orleans at this year's All-Star weekend. They will hold a three-day basketball clinic hosting 67 of the top high school-aged boys and girls from 32 different countries across Africa, Asia, Europe, and the Americas.

A handful of NBA players, including the Nuggets' Emmanuel Mudiay, the Trail Blazers' Meyers Leonard, the Bucks' Thon Maker, the Heat's Wayne Ellington, among others will serve as volunteer coaches, according to Adam Zagoria of ZagsBlog.

“The Basketball Without Borders Global Camp is a great opportunity for the top male and female prospects from around the world to compete against one another, learn directly from NBA and FIBA players, legends, and coaches, and experience the excitement of NBA All-Star,” said Brooks Meek the NBA's vice president of international basketball operations. “The Basketball Without Borders program was founded on the belief that basketball brings young players from different backgrounds together and transcends cultural boundaries.”

Toronto Raptors president Masai Ujiri - who has been a pioneer in spreading his basketball roots all across Africa with Basketball Without Borders in the past - will serve as one of the camp directors over the course of the weekend.

Canada will be well represented at the event, sending three girls and seven boys to the Big Easy - the most of any country participating.
