Zach Lavine and Aaron Gordon captivated the world during the 2016 NBA All-Star Dunk Contest, so their inclusion to this year's event is all but confirmed - and we may have found their competition.

Boston Celtics rookie Jaylen Brown mentioned on CSN New England's Celtics Post-Up show that he has been asked by the NBA to participate in this year's contest, but he is still deciding on whether or not he wants to.

"There's just a lot going on - rookie year - I'm just trying to get adjusted in (my) body and everything," Brown said. "I'm just trying to see how I feel about it, and if my body's up to it. It's a lot of jumping."

If it were up to his teammates, he would have confirmed his spot long ago.

Another candidate is San Antonio Spurs second-year leaper Jonathon Simmons, who the league has apparently reached out to about his possible participation, reports Jabari Young of the San Antonio Express-News.

Both players are young and can jump out of the gym, but can they challenge Gordon and Lavine? Maybe.
