Bulls' Lopez working on 3-point shot: 'If Brook can do it, I definitely can'
Chicago Bulls center Robin Lopez - popular for being a tenacious post defender with incredible hair over in the Windy City - is ready to adapt to the times and evolve into a stretch big.
He told reporters Wednesday afternoon that he's working on developing a 3-point shot to add to his repertoire, although it's not "game ready" at the moment.
"If Brook (Lopez) can do it, I definitely can," Lopez said of his twin brother, according to the Chicago Tribune's K.C. Johnson.
In 590 career outings and 13,301 total minutes over the course of nine seasons with five different organizations, Robin has attempted just five shots from beyond the perimeter, and has failed to connect on a single one.
Brook, on the other hand, has attempted 191 3-pointers with a 34.9 percent connection rate this season alone, which is 152 more than he took during his first eight seasons in a Brooklyn Nets uniform combined.
