Heat's Dion Waiters: Progressing through recovery

Waiters (groin) is back to running near full speed and was able to get on the court for some limited work with teammates recently, Manny Navarro of the Miami Herald reports.

Analysis:

Waiters acknowledged that he's likely going to deal with soreness throughout the rest of the season and that he's just waiting on the Heat medical staff to clear him. It sounds as if he's moving closer to a return, although he remains without any sort of timetable at this point in time. He should continue to be evaluated on a game-to-game basis until further information is provided.
