After watching his starting small forward dominate over the first six weeks of the season, Jason Kidd is beginning to realize just how high Giannis Antetokounmpo's ceiling really is.

And while the Milwaukee Bucks bench boss knows it's dangerous to set high expectations for a young player, he also recognizes knows it's entirely possible that "The Greek Freak" could turn into a generational player.

"Having being around some of the best in the world in LeBron (James) and Dirk (Nowitzki),wouldn't it be cool to have those two combined as one player? Maybe that could happen," Kidd told ESPN's Brian Windhorst.

While Antetokounmpo has found success in a number of ways this season, Kidd has been most impressed with his passing, stating that the 22-year-old's court vision has left him speechless on a number of occasions already.

"To be honest, I don't always think about it, it's just instinct," Antetokounmpo said. "Guys are like, 'how'd you do that?' and I say, 'I'm not thinking about it.' I see what the right pass is and I throw the pass. That's the way it's all been.

"I want to make great plays. It can be blocking a shot, it can be passing to an open teammate or dunking. Just great plays," he said. "That's what makes me excited."

With starting shooting guard Khris Middleton likely out until February, the Bucks have been forced to rely heavily on Antetokounmpo in the early going, and so far, they've been blown away by the results.

"We're in the early stages of seeing where he can take us," Kidd said. "What he's done is show that he can handle a lot right now. There's going to be a time where we're going to raise the bar again and see how he does."
