Los Angeles Lakers point guard Jose Calderon is expected to miss two-to-four weeks after an MRI revealed a strained right hamstring, the team announced Monday.

Calderon picked up the injury in Saturday's loss to the Memphis Grizzlies. The Lakers lost narrowly without their veteran guard at the helm.

The 35-year-old Spaniard had recently been pressed into starting duty after starter D'Angelo Russell picked up an injury of his own. With Calderon out as well, Luke Walton's side is quite thin at the point.

Calderon holds averages of six points and 3.7 assists as a starter this season.
