Pelicans lose Cunningham for 4-6 weeks

New Orleans Pelicans forward Dante Cunningham will miss 4-6 weeks of action due to a fractured right fibula, the team announced Thursday.
Cunningham departed the Pelicans' 117-96 win over the Minnesota Timberwolves on Wednesday after playing 12 minutes. He'd started the past eight games for New Orleans at small forward, averaging 5.6 points with career highs in 3-point attempts per contest (2.6) and 3-point percentage (41).
It's a noticeable blow for a team that has won four straight, and is still awaiting the return of Tyreke Evans from injury. Cunningham's absence likely moves Solomon Hill back into the starting lineup.
