Jazz's George Hill: Will return Wednesday

Hill (thumb) will return to court during Wednesday's game against the Nuggets, Jazz radio play-by-play broadcaster David Locke reports.

Analysis:

Hill missed the last eight games with a sprained right thumb, but after going through a limited practice Tuesday and shootaround Wednesday, he'll be cleared to take the floor. It's possible Hill's minutes could be limited after the relatively long layoff, though conditioning shouldn't be too much of an issue, considering he wasn't battling a lower-body injury. Regardless, expect Hill to reclaim the starting point guard spot going forward, pushing Dante Exum back to a bench role. On the season, Hill is averaging 20.4 points, 4.9 assists and 2.9 rebounds per game while sporting a 26.05 PER.
