Emmanuel Mudiay was on fire during the first quarter of Sunday night's contest against the Boston Celtics.
The second-year point guard finished the frame with 24 points, attacking the Celtics' defense with a combination of pull-ups and drives to the basket.
Unfortunately, Mudiay was held mostly in check after the first, scoring only six points the rest of the way. Still, the total of 30 matched his career high, and the Nuggets defeated the banged-up Celtics soundly, 123-107.
