76ers' Dario Saric: Struggles in NBA debut

Saric struggled in his first taste of regular season NBA action, finishing with just five points (2-12 FG, 0-4 3Pt, 1-2 FT), seven rebounds and two assists in 27 minutes Wednesday against Oklahoma City.

Analysis:

Saric got the start at power forward alongside fellow-rookie Joel Embiid, but it was Embiid who had the better outing, finishing with 20 points and seven rebounds in only 22 minutes. While Saric struggled from the field Wednesday, he remains a high-upside prospect who should have a fairly long leash in his first season. Saric will look to rebound when the Sixers host the Hawks on Saturday night.
