Suns' P.J. Tucker: Cleared for opener
Tucker (back) has been cleared to play in Wednesday's season opener against the Kings, Paul Coro of the Arizona Republic reports.
Analysis:
Tucker is just over a month removed from a mid-September procedure on his back, but he completed his rehab earlier in the week and has been given the green light to play Wednesday. Per coach Earl Watson, Tucker will come off the bench, while T.J. Warren gets the opening-night start at small forward. Whether that continues to be the case as the season progresses remains to be seen.
