Mavs call out Bogut for Twitter rant
'Tis the season to get political on Twitter, in case you haven't noticed. With the 2016 presidential election just two weeks away, Dallas Mavericks center Andrew Bogut took to the internet to do what he does best: be himself, or, a rather outspoken anti-social justice warrior.
Bogut got heated after retweeting a post by conservative political commentator Ben Shapiro. When several users pointed out that Bogut appeared to be a member of the alt-right, he went full keyboard warrior.
Guilty. I also follow left leaning folks, right leaning folks, and yes, you guessed it, conservative folks. I am EVIL! https://t.co/0O7WS0o34J

.@andrewbogut at least the Social Justice Warriors didn't blow a 3-1 lead in the NBA Finals

Of course, these sorts of exchanges spark the kind of heat that involves a mad blocking spree, and according to several Twitter users, Bogut blocked their accounts.
More importantly, Bogut's employer noticed.
What are you doing @andrewbogut?

The internet is forever.
