Knicks' Joakim Noah: Closes out preseason in strong fashion
Noah totaled 12 points (6-9 FG, 0-2 FT), six rebounds, three assists and a block over 21 minutes in Friday's 116-111 preseason victory over the Nets.
Analysis:
Noah, who's had a rough go of it injury-wise the last few seasons, has been sidelined this preseason with ankle and hamstring ailments, so Thursday's finale represented his longest and most productive stint on the court to date in the exhibition slate. The veteran big man was able to suit up for the last three preseason tilts overall and looks prepared to serve as a formidable rebounding presence with occasional scoring contributions down low for the Knicks in the coming season, provided his health sustains.
