Hawks' Dennis Schroder: Delivers 13-5-5 line in Tuesday's win

Schroder recorded 13 points (6-13 FG, 1-3 3Pt, 0-1 FT), five rebounds, five assists and one steal across 24 minutes in Tuesday's 96-89 preseason win over the Pelicans.

Analysis:

The Hawks have only given Schroder a full workload once in his four preseason games, but the 23-year-old has done little to change his standing as the team's unquestioned starter at point guard. He's averaged 11.2 points, 5.2 assists, 3.2 rebounds and 1.0 three-pointer over 23.0 minutes per game during the exhibition slate, and since he'll likely see closer to 30 minutes when the regular season arrives, all of those other stats should see noticeable spikes.
