Jazz's Quincy Ford: Cleared from head injury

Ford (head) was cleared to practice Thursday, Jody Genessy of Deseret News reports.

Analysis:

Ford took a shot to the head during Wednesday's morning practice, but it appears he's avoided any sort of concussion, as he was already back on the floor Thursday. It's good news for Ford, considering he'll need an impressive showing during training camp to earn a spot on the regular season roster. More likely, he'll start his professional career in the D-League.
