76ers' Jerryd Bayless: Dealing with wrist soreness

Bayless was held out of Thursday's scrimmage with soreness in his left wrist, Keith Pompey of the Philadelphia Inquirer reports.

Analysis:

Bayless' injury doesn't appear to be serious and it's believed he was just held out for precautionary reasons. It wouldn't be surprising if he was limited again Friday, though he should be back to full strength prior to the preseason schedule. Bayless is the frontrunner for starting duties at point guard and should see his usage jump to career-high levels this season.
