'They were bad': Durant throws shade on Curry's dad kicks
They might be teammates, but that's not stopping Kevin Durant from speaking the truth about Stephen Curry's sneakers.
Durant appeared with guest Nas on this week's episode of "Any Given Wednesday with Bill Simmons," and when the rapper was asked to review the Curry 2 Low "Chef," Durant had to interject.
"They were bad," Durant said. "They were bad."
Curry has been the subject of internet ridicule since his latest signature shoe was released. The plain design was widely mocked for its appeal to older generations. A GQ investigation showed middle-age men giving tremendously positive reviews of Curry's kicks.
But Durant shouldn't throw rocks if he's in a glass house. He also caught plenty of flack in March for how he wore his KD8 Elites.
