Wizards' John Wall: Recovery remains on track
Wall is progressing well from offseason surgery on both of his knees, Candace Buckner of the Washington Post reports. "I just came from the doctor and I'm right where I'm supposed to be, but I'm not in a rush," Wall said Saturday.
Analysis:
Buckner reports that Wall has been working out twice a day and getting shots up, but he hasn't quite progressed to playing one-on-one. Still, the regular season is over two months away, so it's not unusual for a player like Wall to be taking a measured approach to his recovery in order to avoid a setback. By every indication, Wall remains on schedule with his recovery and should enter the upcoming season as a top-tier fantasy point guard.
