Report: Pelicans bringing Robert Sacre to training camp

Canadian center Robert Sacre will have the opportunity to compete for a roster spot on the New Orleans Pelicans after being invited to take part in the team's training camp, league sources told ESPN's Marc Stein.
This signifies the end of Sacre's four-year run with the Los Angeles Lakers, which made him the second-longest tenured player on the team behind Kobe Bryant, who recently retired.
The 27-year-old signed a three-year deal with the organization in 2013, earning the minimum each season.
Making 189 total appearances in Laker gold, Sacre averaged 4.2 points and 3.1 rebounds in 14.5 minutes.
He became expendable after the team signed former Cleveland Cavaliers big man Timofey Mozgov to a massive four-year, $64-million contract.
