After three seasons in the NBA, Shane Larkin is taking his talents to Europe.
The former Nets, Knicks, and Mavericks point guard has signed with Spanish team Saski Baskonia - also known as Laboral Kutxa - where he'll join Andrea Bargnani, his teammate in each of the last two seasons with the Nets and Knicks.
Larkin was coming off a career-year last season with Brooklyn, where he averaged 7.3 points, 4.4 assists, 2.3 rebounds, and 1.2 steals in 22 minutes per game off the Nets' bench. The 23-year-old also shot better than 36 percent from 3-point range.
Larkin opted out of a 2016-17 player option with Brooklyn that would have paid him $1.5 million.
Larkin, who appeared in 202 NBA games since being selected 18th overall in the 2013 NBA Draft, joins a Baskonia team that also features Roddy Beaubois and Tornike Shengelia in addition to Bargnani.
Baskonia made the Euroleague Final Four last season.
