Birdman joined ESPN's "First Take" on Thursday to discuss Dwyane Wade signing with the Chicago Bulls and how the city of Miami has been handling his departure.

The rapper said Wade "deserved the respect" after everything he did for Miami and added that if he was Heat president Pat Riley, he would have given Wade the money he wanted.

"If I'd been the head honcho, I wouldn't have allowed (Wade to leave)," Birdman said.
