The New Orleans Pelicans and swingman Alonzo Gee are in the process of finalizing a one-year contract, sources tell The Vertical's Shams Charania.
Gee declined his player option with the Pelicans last month for about $1.4 million next season, becoming a free agent. The 29-year-old averaged 4.5 points in 73 games in 2015-16 - the second-most contests he's played in his seven-year NBA career.
Gee shot close to 52 percent from the floor in his first season in New Orleans, although almost half of his 132 baskets were dunks.
