Raptors' Norman Powell: Stands out in Vegas

Powell earned second-team All-NBA Summer League honors, averaging 19.8 points, 4.4 rebounds and 2.4 assists in five games.

Analysis:

Powell was clearly the best player on the floor for a Raptors team that carried a 4-0 record before bowing out to Timberwolves in the Las Vegas Summer League tournament. He shot a passable 42.6 percent from the field, but converted 46.2 percent of his three-point attempts and got to the line seven times per game. Expectations will be high for Powell as he enters his second NBA season, and he'll again be a key piece off the bench for a Raptors team gearing up for another deep postseason run.
