Paul Pierce may not be finished with his NBA playing career yet. The veteran forward intends to return for a 19th season, a person close to Pierce told the Los Angeles Times' Ben Bolch.
Pierce has one more guaranteed year on his contract, at just over $3.5 million with the Los Angeles Clippers. Pierce - who turns 39 before the 2016-17 season begins - was reportedly still considering retirement last month.
Pierce hit career lows in his first campaign with his hometown Clippers last season - 6.1 points, 2.7 rebounds, and a field-goal percentage of 36.3.
