The Minnesota Timberwolves have reached an agreement with free-agent forward Brandon Rush.
The eight-year veteran will sign a one-year, $3.5-million contract.
Having battled injuries through the prime of his career, Rush was able to resurrect his career in Golden State. The former 13th pick played 72 games last season and connected on 41.4 percent of his 3-pointers.
Rush isn't the defender he once was following the injuries, but he remains a deadly catch-and-shoot threat from deep. He should provide the youthful Timberwolves with shooting and veteran experience.
