Mavericks' Mejri underwent knee surgery

The Dallas Mavericks announced Thursday that backup center Salah Mejri underwent arthroscopic surgery for his right knee.
Mejri is expected to be fully cleared in time for training camp.
The Tunisian-born shot-blocker turned heads during his first season in the NBA. He posted per-36 averages of 11.3 points, 11.2 rebounds, and 3.3 blocks while shooting 62.8 percent from the field.
