T-Mac: Bulls wouldn't have won NBA title if I was on team
Thomas Campbell / USA TODAY Sports
Tracy McGrady thinks Michael Jordan was right to veto a trade that would've seen him traded to the Chicago Bulls in exchange for Scottie Pippen on draft night in 1997.
TMZ Sports caught up with McGrady on Saturday and asked him what he thinks would've happened if the Bulls had in fact shipped off Pippen to land him, as he claimed on ESPN's "The Jump."
McGrady was brutally honest, saying he believes Jordan would've retired earlier and the Bulls wouldn't have won the NBA championship.
"I wasn't even developed yet," McGrady said.
