Andre Iguodala is fully expected to play in Game 7 of the NBA Finals after dealing with back problems in Game 6, but he's also keeping an eye on the financial benefits of a winner-take-all contest.
"I think the BRI is going up," Iguodala said of Game 7, according to USA Today's Sam Amick. "It's good for business."
BRI means basketball-related income, the hefty sum of money that is essentially split 50-50 between owners and players. It was reported Friday that the salary cap for the 2016-17 season will hit about $94-million per team, another byproduct of the NBA's record revenues in large part due to its new TV deal.
