Despite other stars opting out left and right, Kevin Durant remains intent on heading to the Summer Olympics in Brazil.
ESPN's Marc Stein reports that Durant is committed to Team USA regardless of where he lands in free agency, regardless of concerns over the Zika virus, and regardless of other absences.
Durant is expected to be joined by Paul George, Klay Thompson, and DeMarcus Cousins, who are considered locks along with Kyrie Irving if he remains available following the postseason.
Team USA is also considering a star-studded cast that includes Kawhi Leonard, Jimmy Butler, Draymond Green, Andre Drummond, DeAndre Jordan, Damian Lillard, and Mike Conley.
