Klay Thompson briefly left Game 3 of the NBA Finals after suffering a thigh contusion thanks to a Timofey Mozgov screen, and he didn't mince words about it afterward.
"It seemed kind of dirty to me," Thompson told reporters postgame.
"(It) didn't make sense to me. I'm just confused why he's trying to set a screen in the middle of the key while we're both running downhill."
Thompson appeared to be in significant discomfort in the tunnel after the pick, and said Thursday's off-day should be enough to recuperate any lingering effects on the left leg. Then he offered a prediction that the Warriors wouldn't be dominated the same way as they were in the 30-point Game 3 loss.
"We're going to come out much better on Friday," Thompson said.
