Nets select Isaiah Whitehead with No. 42 pick

The Brooklyn Nets selected Seton Hall's Isaiah Whitehead with the No. 42 pick in the 2016 NBA Draft.

Brooklyn traded cash considerations and the No. 55 selection to the Utah Jazz in order to jump up to the 42nd pick, according to The Vertical's Adrian Wojnarowski.

Whitehead offers good size at 6-foot-4, 210 pounds and versatility for a combo guard. He's an above-average passer and has the ability to attack the basket and finish.

He needs to work on his shot selection after shooting 37.9 percent from the field and 36.5 percent from beyond the arc. Whitehead is sometimes questioned for his decision making and is also turnover prone.
