Warriors' Iguodala moves into starting lineup for Game 7
Golden State Warriors head coach Steve Kerr elected to insert Andre Iguodala into his starting lineup for Game 7 of the Western Conference finals on Monday night against the Oklahoma City Thunder.
The 32-year-old veteran replaced Harrison Barnes - who celebrated his 24th birthday on Monday - at small forward.
Iguodala played 38 minutes in a do-or-die Game 6 win for the Warriors on the road, scoring eight points, grabbing seven rebounds, and stealing the ball three times.
His stellar defense on four-time scoring champion Kevin Durant forced the OKC star into 10-of-31 shooting on the night. Iguodala also had three crucial defensive plays down the stretch of the fourth quarter, stripping Russell Westbrook of the rock on two occasions and Durant on another.
Iguodala started only one previous game this season. The Warriors also went a perfect 3-0 during last year's playoffs when he started.
