The Golden State Warriors' system and backcourt are the two major ingredients in their revolutionizing of the NBA over the past two years.

Coach Steve Kerr knows that can mean a wild ride sometimes, as the Western Conference finals against the Oklahoma City Thunder has proven.

"The beauty of Steph and Klay is they walk that line between lethal and crazy," Kerr told reporters of Stephen Curry and Klay Thompson after the Warriors' 108-101 Game 6 win Saturday, according to Tim Bontemps of The Washington Post. "We have to live with some crazy shots, some crazy misses, because they make more than their fare share."

It was Thompson's turn to go off in Game 6, scoring 41 points while burying a new NBA playoff record 11 treys - including going 5-of-6 from deep in the fourth quarter.

Curry, who was held scoreless in the first quarter for the first time this postseason, warmed up as the game progressed.

Able to get a bit more space against the harassing defense the Thunder have employed against him, the reigning back-to-back MVP finished with a near triple-double of 31 points, 10 rebounds, and nine assists.

In a testament to what they mean to the Warriors, Curry and Thompson scored 45 of Golden State's 60 second half points, and 25 of their 33 fourth-quarter points.

Game 7 of what has become a classic conference finals series goes Monday night at Oracle Arena.
