Love not medically cleared, out for Game 3

The Cleveland Cavaliers announced Wednesday that power forward Kevin Love will not be medically cleared for Game 3 of the NBA Finals.
Love remains in the NBA's concussion protocol and will continue to be monitored by team physicians. Love reportedly lobbied to be activated, but the soonest he could be cleared would be ahead of Friday's Game 4.
The Cavaliers placed Love in the concussion protocol after he took a hard elbow to the head in Game 2. Love stayed in the game momentarily and showed no concussive signs during halftime, according to the team, but he eventually checked himself out during the third quarter on account of dizziness.
Love skipped practice Tuesday and was only a limited participant during morning shootaround Wednesday.
The Cavaliers haven't announced the impending lineup change to the starting five, but veteran forward Richard Jefferson was also spotted wearing a starters' jersey after morning shootaround.
The Golden State Warriors hold a 2-0 series lead.
