Jonas Valanciunas is still nowhere close to a return.
The Toronto Raptors center estimated Wednesday he's at 50 percent in his recovery from an ankle injury that he sustained two weeks ago.
Fortunately for Raptors fans, Valanciunas didn't sport a limp as he walked around the practice court.
Prior to his injury, Valanciunas put up 15 points and 12.1 rebounds along with 1.4 blocks per game while shooting 55 percent from the field. He was by far the Raptors' most efficient scorer and led the team in PER (27.6).
Bismack Biyombo has drawn the starts at center in Valanciunas' absence. Biyombo's defense was vital in helping the Raptors defeat the Miami Heat in the second round, but the Cleveland Cavaliers hung 115 on the Raptors in Game 1 of the Eastern Conference finals.
