Duke head coach Mike Krzyzewski opted for a bit of showmanship this weekend during commencement.
Coach K borrowed a phrase from Kobe Bryant's retirement speech to the Los Angeles Lakers faithful. When Bryant retired at the end of this season, he left the Lakers fan with a simple phrase, "Mamba out."
So Krzyzewski put his own spin on it, going with "Coach K out."
The two became close when Krzyzewski coached Bryant during his time with USA basketball, so Kobe likely won't be upset with Coach K for stealing the line.
