Raptors' DeMarre Carroll: Expected to play Friday

Coach Dwane Casey said that he expects Carroll (wrist) to play and start in Friday's Game 6 against the Heat, Ryan Wolstat of the Toronto Sun reports.

Analysis:

Carroll left Wednesday's Game 5 win over the Heat in the second half after a scary moment in which he landed awkwardly on his wrist on a drive to the basket. Fortunately, X-rays were negative, and all additional tests revealed no significant damage. As such, it appears Carroll will likely be able to give it a go Friday with the Raptors needing just one more win to clinch a spot in the Eastern Conference Finals. Further confirmation on Carroll's status figures to be made available prior to tip off.
