Mahinmi (back) said after the Pacers' morning shootaround that he'll play in Thursday's Game 3 tilt with the Raptors, Scott Agness of Vigilant Sports reports.
Analysis:
Mahinmi avoided taking contact during shootaround, but that was likely just for precautionary purposes, so as to avoid another setback with his back, which has ailed him periodically throughout the season. It's not expected that Mahinmi will face any injury-related minute restrictions Thursday, but after going 0-for-6 from the floor in 22 minutes during Monday's Game 2 loss, it wouldn't be surprising if Lavoy Allen or Myles Turner ate up some of the center's floor time.
