Griffin (rest) will be back in the starting lineup for Sunday's game against the Mavericks, Dan Woike of the OC Register reports.

Analysis:

Griffin sat out of Friday's game against the Jazz for rest, but after three days off, he'll move back into the starting lineup. Griffin has seen his minutes capped at 25 in the three games since returning from injury/suspension. The Clippers likely want to increase those minutes with the playoffs arriving in less than a week, but it's unclear if they're planning on taking that approach Sunday. The Clippers also have a back-to-back set versus the Grizzlies and Suns on Tuesday and Wednesday, so Griffin may end up sitting out one of those games for another day of rest. In his three games since returning from injury/suspension, Griffin is averaging 7.7 points, 5.3 rebounds and 3.3 assists over 22 minutes.
