Barea will not return to Friday's game with the Grizzlies after straining his right groin, Tim MacMahon of ESPN reports.
Analysis:
Barea originally headed to the locker room after five minutes of action, and was announced as questionable to return. Shortly thereafter he returned to the sidelined and entered the game. He had a noticeable hitch in his step and was subsequently pulled from the game. If he is forced to miss anymore time Devin Harris should see an increased workload, as the Mavericks backcourt is already very thin in depth.
