The Washington Wizards' frustrating bid for a playoff spot could come to an end Friday without their All-Star in the lineup.

John Wall will miss a second straight game due to a sore right knee when the Wizards take on the Detroit Pistons on Friday. A Pistons win will officially eliminate Washington from postseason contention.

The Wizards enter Detroit 3.5 games behind the eighth-place Pistons with only four games remaining.

Wall, who sat out Wednesday's victory over the Brooklyn Nets, has averaged a career-high 19.9 points, 10.2 assists, 4.9 rebounds, and 1.9 steals in 77 games, with the Wizards performing nearly seven points per 100 possessions better with him on the court.
