Johnson (foot) will be held out of Friday's game against the Jazz, Dan Woike of the Orange County Register reports.

Analysis:

Johnson originally missed Wednesday's game against the Lakers for what was thought to be rest on the second half of a back-to-back set, but it has since come out that he's dealing with plantar fasciitis in both feet. The Clippers won't take any chances with him worsening his condition by playing in a fairly meaningless regular season contest, so Johnson will be held out of the game, along with Chris Paul, Blake Griffin, DeAndre Jordan, and J.J. Redick. With Johnson out Friday, among others, deep reserves like Branden Dawson, Paul Pierce, and Luc Richard Mbah a Moute may be asked to pick up more court time than usual at forward.
