William Byron: Crash and DNF at Monster Mile

Byron crashed and finished 33rd in the Wurth 400 NASCAR Cup Series race at Dover Motor Speedway Sunday afternoon.

Analysis:

A possible Top-10 finish would slip away on lap 329. Byron would get tangled up in contact between Bubba Wallace and Zane Smith which would involve several cars coming out of turn 2 and onto the backstretch. The No. 24 Chevrolet would hit the inside wall and sustain heavy damage. Byron would be finished for the day with his first DNF of the season.
