Truex Jr. finished third in the Wurth 400 NASCAR Cup Series race at Dover Motor Speedway Sunday afternoon.

Analysis:

Truex would continue his long tradition of strong Dover performances Sunday in the Wurth 400. The Joe Gibbs Racing star would quickly charge from 15th on the starting grid to lead and win stage 1. He'd lead 69 total laps but eventually give way to Ryan Blaney. Truex would race inside the Top 5 the rest of the way and hold off Kyle Busch to secure a strong third-place finish. It would snap a three-race Top-10 drought for the No. 19 team.
