Brandon Jones: Wins BetRivers 200 Pole

Jones won the pole for the BetRivers 200 NASCAR Xfinity Series race at Dover Motor Speedway Friday afternoon. He turned a fast lap of 156.863 mph.

Analysis:

Given how well he practiced, it was little surprise to see the driver of the No. 9 Chevrolet atop the scoring pylon at Dover. Jones would advance to the final round and hold off a great lap from Riley Herbst to claim the pole position. It was his second pole of the season and 10th-career pole position. Jones will be a top contender to win Saturday at the Monster Mile.
