Christopher Bell: Crash and DNF at Talladega

Bell crashed and finished 38th in the GEICO 500 NASCAR Cup Series race at Talladega Superspeedway Sunday afternoon.

Analysis:

Bell's day would end of lap 132. He would be racing mid-pack and looking to possibly forge a Top 10 by the checkered flag. However, contact between multiple drivers would send a car spinning into Bell and he would slap the outside wall hard on the backstretch. The damage would be terminal and the No. 20 Toyota would be finished for the day. It was Bell's second DNF of the season.
