Kevin Harvick emerged victorious at the FireKeepers Casino 400 at Michigan International Speedway on Sunday to snap a 65-race winless streak.

Harvick officially finds himself on the Cup playoff grid thanks to the victory. The 46-year-old, who's now won 60 career races, had only led 13 laps this year entering Sunday.

"Everybody who doubted us doesn't know us," Harvick said, according to Mike Hembree of NBC Sports. "They obviously know we thrive in these situations. A lot of things went our way today, which we haven't had all year."

Harvick is the 15th different race winner this year with 16 playoff spots available.

Pole sitter Bubba Wallace crossed the line second, and Denny Hamlin rounded out the podium in third.

Christopher Bell won the first stage of the race, while Hamlin was the Stage 2 victor.

There are three regular-season races remaining as the playoff picture becomes clearer. Richmond Raceway in Virginia will host the next round on Aug. 14 in the final short-track race of the year.
